Little is More

I went to BJ's with Richard last night in celebration of his birthday today! Yay! I told him to run to the bathroom real quick so I can tell the waitress so we can get a free pizookie but, Richard didn't want any attention. He's too modest sometimes.

I haven't gone to BJ's in about two years and their whole menu has changed. They came up with something called "Small Bites" and it was $2.95 per dish and it honestly is a good idea because we can have a taste of everything and keep it under budget!

Richard and I had the fried artichokes with garlic aioli (not as good as mine heehee)...
 wings but these aren't on the small bites menu! I just really like their wings...
 mini bruschetta bites...
 mini tacos...
 and gourmet mac and cheese.
It was about $20 and we were both stuffed! Unfortunately we didn't get a pizookie since we were soo full.

BJ's stepped up their game! I am for sure going back now!

    looks like a lot of delicious food! pizookies are sooo yummy. have you ever tried making one yourself? all you have to do is bake one huge cookie and scoop a bunch of ice cream on top!

    Happy Birthday to the man! What a fun way to celebrate- I love little bites. The fried artichokes sounds amazing. Josh and I are huge artichoke fans

    I love, love, tiny plates like that - I wouldn't have had room for dessert either! Me? I like the birthday attention! :D

    I went to BJ's for the first time for a friend's birthday party about 2 weeks ago and I loved it too! I got a deep dish pizza and the the mac n' cheese as well. I loved the bacon bits inside...mmm... :) I'm kinda sad that you guys were too full for the pizookie though! ~Emily
