What's in my Little Beauty Bag

I love makeup. I don't know if it's the artist in me but I find pleasure in painting my face and actually wake up early in the morning so I can spend a good few minutes and do my face. Although I find that it takes a lot of products for my everyday "natural" look.
I am a sucker for Bloomingdale's little brown items. Although I don't work for them anymore I still love them!
 My face items:
From left to right: Mac Mineralize Skinfinish natural powder in Medium, BB cream that my cousin got in Korea for me and MAC concealer in NW20.

The BB cream is like an Asian favorite. It's like a cross between a tinted moisturizer and a foundation because it covers more than a tinted moisturizer. I only put this on my cheeks because I get red very easily in the sun so it covers my redness. The concealer is put under my eyes, nose and my chin to cover my blemish scars and dark circles. Then I set everything with the powder.
 Cheek items:
MAC powder blush in Well Dressed and Rock n Republic powder blush in Spank.
I love baby pink cheeks and since I am pale it's the only color that works on me. Red makes me look like I just ran the Boston marathon. I also use the Rock n Republic blush for the mirror.
 My eyes items:
From left to right: Shu Uemura fiber Xtension mascara, MAC splashproof lash, L'Oreal Voluminous mascara, Maybelline Great Lash in blackest black and MAC liquidlast liner in Black Point.

Yes I use all four mascaras! I learned from a makeup artist that a combination of different mascaras create that falsie look. You lightly layer each one and BAM you got lashes. The Shu Uemura mascara is now discontinued so ebay will soon have a new customer and I usually use Shu Uemura waterproof mascara because it's the best, this MAC one is aight. Of course you gotta love the drugstore brands; the L'Oreal one was given to me by my cousin and I LOVE IT, totally volumizes your lashes and of course everyone loves the great lash. T'is a classic.
 My eyebrows:
Tarte The toolbox in Medium and Chanel eyebrow palette in Brun.
I love these little toolboxes! The Tarte comes with a mini brush, mini pencil, mini tweezers, powder and wax (in a hidden drawer under the palette) and clear mascara. The Chanel one had 3 different colored browns, mini tweezer, two brushes and a magnified mirror. I love a strong brow and it really gives your face definition and can highlight your face.
 My daily lipstuff:
Smith's Rosebud Salve and Maybelline in Pink Please.

I swear by the Rosebud salve, it's like Vaseline but smells like roses. The Maybelline lipstick is my favorite pink lipstick EVA. I need to stock up because Target doesn't have any! EEK!
My tools:
From left to right: Shu Uemura eyelash curler, Revlon tweezers, Bobbi Brown concealer brush, Chanel eyeliner brush, Chanel blush brush, e.l.f. blush and powder brush and a sponge.

I swear by Shu Uemura eyelashes curlers especially if you have stubborn Asian lashes like me. They stopped selling it here in the U.S. but you can order it online. I use the Chanel eyeliner brush for my lashes. It's small and precise therefore my brows can be nice and detailed. My cousin introduced me to the e.l.f. studio brushes and they are sooo good and cheap! The sponges I got from ULTA and I think they were about $3 for a whole crapload.

Well there ya go, my daily makeup wear.

  5. Ooooh, I love make up (even though I'm all about the natural look and simple living!). It's such a guilty pleasure! I was obsessed with Clinique for ages but recently switched to Bare Minerals for foundation - I love it!

  6. I'm addicted to my Bloomingdale's Little Brown Cosmetic bag! Super cute, right? I'm a big Neutrogena girl -- couldn't live without their concealer -- and I love, LOVE all my Dior mascaras!

  7. Aww I love bloomies! Omg, I didn't know the Shu Uemura eyelash curlers were no longer sold here?! I am obsessed with mine but might need a new one in the future. Love the info about the mascaras because I need a new one and have really never found one that I really love.
